The School of Management was established in 1997. The first chairman was Dr. Wen-Jang (Kenny) Jih. We used to develop E-Business and create the Business Information Center, which provided the industries with cooperation and offered training programs to senior vocational school teachers. At present, we encourage our teachers to do more research and to submit papers to SSCI journals. Our curriculum is designed professionally, tentatively to compete with those programs for the top-5 universities in the world, and we aim at internationalizing instruction and research activities.
Under the School of Management are 9 undergraduate and 9 graduate programs and one doctorate program, all of which focus on the application of the theory. The facilities include 21 laboratories, the Management Research Center supporting all the research of our school, and the Financial Laboratory where students are trained to be equipped with professional expertise.
Localization:
Our objective emphasizes international knowledge learning , and hope to stand side by side with Top5.Localizing international knowledge and making it more understandable to students.
Application of theory:
We supply chances to full time and part time students which could work together and share experience through EMBA courses. To encourage teachers to work with industries and achieve application of theory.
Multiplicity:
Students could select any course which they interested to study in their first year. It could help them learn multiple knowledge and create their professional background.
Research Upgrading:
Setting rule and goal to teachers and students who study in research courses. Helping them to upgrade their research capabilities.
